Having recently broadened the capabilities of its PlayStation 3 console through the integration of Facebook, electronics giant Sony Corp. is now rumoured to be preparing to give online PS3 customers access to Mozilla’s open-source Firefox browser.

Moreover, the diligent folks over at PlayStation Insider claim to have heard through the gaming grapevine that Sony is emerged in talks with the Mozilla Corporation that could result in the PS3’s generic and unimpressive default Web browser being eschewed in favour of the popular Firefox platform.

3D stereoscopic technology is a major component of Sony's strategy to achieve profitability for the PlayStation 3 -- and the company says the console's planning for a system-wide solution.

In a new presentation [PDF link] to investors about the company as a whole, Sony revealed plans to add 3D capability to PS3 games via a firmware update: "All PS3 units will be firmware-upgradeable to 3D," it says.

The largest capacity PlayStation 3 system is available starting 03 November 2009 with the 250GB PlayStation 3. The new PS3 has the same "Slim" form factor as the recently released 120GB PS3. The 250GB PlayStation 3 is available for $349.99 from retailers such as Amazon.com. That's only $50 more than the $299.99 120GB PS3, and more than double the capacity.

Sony Confirms 250GB PS3

Sony has confirmed that it will launch 250GB PlayStation 3 Slim console in November this year. Back in August, Sony had announced PS3 Slim 120GB for $299 (Rs. 14,400 approx.) and now, 250GB HDD loaded PS3 Slim will cost $349 (Rs. 16,800 approx.). North American consumers will be the first ones to get his 250GB PS3 Slim model from November 3 onwards.

The news about 250GB PS3 Slim model CECH-2000B was dug up on the same day when Slim was announced at GamesCon 2009 Expo.

Not too along ago the release of’ Unofficial PSARdumper of Red Bull made it possible to decrypt PSP Official Firmware 5.55 open the possibility of a PSP Custom Firmware 5.55 to be release by any PSP Custom Firmware developers who are able to used the PSARdumper to help with the creation of a custom firmware for the PSP .

The videogame 100% antipiracy (until when?) was launched this week in Brazil.

The new console has not cd/dvd's drivers or slots for cartdriges, all the games are bought and downloaded from 3G wireless, used by mobile phones.

The firsts games are not THAT games, but we have Street Fighter Alpha, Need for Speed Carbon, Resident Evil 4, FIFA SOCCER '09, Tekken 2, Quake I and II, Crash Kart and others...

The graphicals are between PS1/PS2 and the games are really cheap...
