PlayStation3 250GB system available

The largest capacity PlayStation 3 system is available starting 03 November 2009 with the 250GB PlayStation 3. The new PS3 has the same "Slim" form factor as the recently released 120GB PS3. The 250GB PlayStation 3 is available for $349.99 from retailers such as Amazon.com. That's only $50 more than the $299.99 120GB PS3, and more than double the capacity.

You can swap out the internal 2.5" harddrives for both systems, but if you're getting a new PlayStation 3, you should go for the 250GB, as you'll find your harddrive filling fast with games and digital content. Look for the gray box for the 250GB PlayStation 3, available from retailers starting tomorrow.

Don't worry about it drew. Remember this is Sony we're talking about...it'll probably get an RRP of 25 Million pounds in the UK or some other somewhat less huge, but no less ludicrous figure, based on the position of the sun, moon and stars on the day of release.

I would rather buy the 120GB version. I can then use the 50 bucks I saved to buy a 250GB hard drive.

Now, for the price I spent on that, (equaling a 250GB version ps3,) I have a spare 120GB hard drive to do whatever I want with it and a pimped out ps3. booyah mothafuckas, that's some frugal tightass shit right there.

either way there is no way in hell any one would convince me to buy A. a PS3 slim or B. a ps3 that isnet a 60 or 80GB without the memory card slots or 4 USB ports

primary reason PS2 B/C it was just wrong for them to remove it as the system on launch was advertised to have this feature and a lot of ppl that dont regularly follow the scene dont know the new PS3's dont play PS2 games im still constantly telling my friends that the new PS3's dont play PS2 games and dont waste your time buy a referb

secondary reason (reason for not buying a slim) no linux and thay did away with the linux capability for a reason im unshure why yet but still im thinking a possability of an exploit through linux some how but hay maybe thats just me wishin that some one on this mutha fukin planet would hack this beast of a machine so we can use the true power of it
