Action Replay v1.14 with Menu V4.0U

Ok, so I came to this website many a time before when I had issues with my PS2, so my hopes is that this will work again with the Wii.

First off, I'll start with what I have done. I purchased a Wii last year, was dumb and updated to Menu V4.0U. I installed the HBC via BannerBomb / HackMii. Recently I updated the HBC through it's online updater and installed DVDx. Nothing else has been changed on the c/m/ios.

I've become increasingly frustrated with the difficulty level of F-Zero GX (or my lack of skill) and would rather just cheat. I found this guide for using Action Replay V1.14 from the HBC, the only trouble is that I need to patch my MIOS. I can't patch the MIOS until after I do something to the IOS.

If more information is needed such as which version IOS I currently have, you'll have to either explain to me how to find it, or link me to a tutorial on finding it.
