Thanks for the links, but they are pretty expensive. I made a mistake its not my R4 that died, its my acekard. I bought an R4 a while ago (the originals not the clone) and gave it as a present to my nephew and it still works like new.

What do you recommend? I'm not up to spec with the cards. Looks like alot of them are clones and i dont want to spend >$30 for a clone thats going to crap out on me after a month or so.

Ok....you're probably not going to like my recommendation based upon pricing but for the DS or DSLite i'd go with the CycloDS Evolution. That's what i have and the support and corresponding compatibility is unparalleled.

If you're future proofing or simply want a cheaper option i'd say go for the Supercard DSTwo, the Acekard 2i or the M3i Zero. All are good cards although the Acekard is dependent on Normatt updating his AKAIO.
