Yeah, the D-pad and all the buttons work when I do a test but I can't get the analogue sticks to work.

can you open the ds3 tool program at all? You have to configure it in there. there is an option analog game pad 2. that makes all the buttons and left analog stick work. I still can't get the right stick to work at all using all options.

I don't know, the only thing I can suggest is to reinstall the program again. it should keep your drivers intact though if you do. ds3 tool is pretty important, have you tried to play any games with it yet?

Yes. I played Street Fighter IV last night and it worked fine. I'll try reinstalling the driver again and see what happens this time.

I've already tried that amp and I have also tried setting the compatibility to Windows XP SP2 and I still have the same problem.

well if you got it to work then you're good. I wouldn't try anything else if you're happy with the results. no point in fixing something if it isn't broke huh.

Yeah, it's just a pity that I can't get the DS3 Tool to work though... oh well, at least I've got it to work this time and that's the main thing. Thanks for the help.
