Oh, the ps2 is getting a chip regardless. I just wanted others opinion on a chip before I went and bought one. Although I'm finding it difficult to find modbo's in any shops. Although it is tempting to get a Crystal Chip just so I can complete that tutorial I've been working on (seems like forever on it) If I do though, it may end up being a cheap one. dunno. but I'd sooner get a modbo before a crystal just because I don't like how the CC uses scripts to do pretty much anything.

Yes I agree its a nice chip but if you don't know or care about PBAT scripting its a pain in the arse, I just like using ULE with matrix/modbo.

yeah its too easy to use ule with matrix ..so that i like matrix chips ...clone or not ...

and i guess its little stable than that CC due to some bugs in the CC

@ gamecubesuxs - just out of question, on the modbo 745/760, can the config be saved on those? Amp confirmed on the modbo 4.0, but I'm not sure on those, and since those seem to be easier to get, I was wondering about them.

Yes they can be. The only thing is you know with the matrix how you can simply just reset after changing settings? Well the 745/760 has to be put into standby and reset to save them. Other than that its fine. You might want to even get a modbo 520/530 since they are also compatible with V10's and usually cost a few bucks less than the 745/760. They are the same just are limited to V4-V13 while the 745/760 is V4-V15.

@ amp - you lost me bro. I was just saying that you confirmed saving the settings on a modbo 4.0 and I was wondering if the settings could be saved on a modbo 745/760, which gamecubesuxs confirmed. If I'm going to get a chip, I want to be able to configure it and save it.

@ both amp and gamecubesuxs - thanks guys. I guess I"m going to get this one from divineo simply becuase I'm going to buy a replacement laser as well (and a laser arm for that v10 to see if I can quiet it down)
