Re: old age set in
I followed another tutorial similar to the one you posted. the only problem I'm having is with the baking trick part. whenever I power on the 360 it completely shuts down and then flashes 2 red lights. I tried to power it on using the tray eject button, now I am getting 2 red lights and the tray will not close after I press the tray eject button again. I also noticed that the yellow light on the power brick turns green for a few seconds then it goes to yellow again.
So it doesn't even turn on long enough to heat up, it seems light the power cuts off immediately after I turn it on then comes the 2 red lights. |

Re: old age set in
also, use an older version of jungle flasher like JungleFlasher v0.1.55 Beta
newer ones don't work where this one does.

Re: old age set in
about the 2 red lights
either one or both heatsinks aren't in place or haven't been secured properly or the board is bending get the board out of the case, make sure the sinks are fine (if you're using screws UNSCREW them completely then give em all the same number of turns and tight the sinks snug) place the board on a non conductive surface, plug in the ring-board, the AV cable, the PSU (and the fans...just to see whether they spin up like crazy, indicating bad sink positioning) and fire that pita up report back |

Re: old age set in
I did what you said about unscrewing the screws and then turning them all the same amount of turns. I'm still getting the same problem. I think my 360 is done. It powers on for a few seconds then shuts off all power completely. Thank you for your advice though. I'm just going to throw it in the garbage. I am going to save the case and the other parts I modded in case I need them for another 360 down the road. Right now I am just over the 360 totally and I want to pick up a new PS3 with the 250gb HDD.
