WinHIIP won't format my hard drive
whenever I try to format my hard drive it gives this error
"There has been a problem writing to the destination hard disc drive!" and cancels out I'm trying to use a Maxtor 6L200R0 (formerly was an external drive) and according to the PS2 Hard Drive Compatibility Chart it is compatible so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong  for the record I am running WinHIIP in compatibility mode of Windows XP Service Pack 2 and as an Administrator like the guide says to (I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) edit: wow only took me 5+ years to make my first post

well I put the drive in my ps2 and let HDLoader format it and then tried to format it again in WinHIIP and this time it worked
 not sure why it didn't like trying to format it when it was FAT32 or NTFS but oh well
