can someone help me im also using
SLUS_008.92 : Final Fantasy VIII [Disc1of4]
but i cant get it to work i have read many tutorials word for word and still no go
pls someone help me out i already have the hdd in just need to run hd loader. email me or pm me thx.

FF series games are known to not be compatible, so if you have a different game, try that one instead. Or you can try to install the Free McBoot if you have a way to run an elf file.

hey, the only psx games i have are:
ff7 disc 1-3
ff8 disc 1-4
all ntsc. the ff7 disc 1 thing barely plays so plz dont use that one one...
but i have gameshark 2, and have read some stuff, but i can't get the stupid slus id # if someone could help me out, be much appreciated. i know mcbeth kindly made someone one for the pal version of ff8 but its APAL and Bdead link . also, if you post the file for me, plz tell me what to do with it (is it a gamesave or what, and how to use it... sorry, kinduva noob)

Then your best bet would be a new exploit called Free MC Boot. Once installed, it does not use a disc to trigger it.
